The dance of the low-sloping foreheads...

This from Ed Driscoll via Instapundit:
The View Of The World From Pinch Avenue.

The money quote from a video:
“If it’s Kansas, Missouri, no big deal. You know, that’s the dance of the low-sloping foreheads. The middle places, right? …Did I just say that aloud?”

Having lived in the Midwest - Midwesterners are more team oriented than people on the east coast. New Jersey is more team oriented than either New York or DC. New York has too much empire building (everyone is too interested in getting their cut and protecting their turf).

DC is more political. In places it is worse than New York (the Federal Government in particular is just a turf war), in some commercial areas it looks like a Southern state and people are better behaved.

I don't understand the hubris of people on the coast. If you can't play well as a team your value to society is limited.
